What is FASE Shop?
FASE Shop is an AI skin check for skincare stores and beauty retailers. Shoppers scan on the FASE Scanner in your store or take a selfie on your website, get a skin report and see product picks from your own catalogue, ready to add to the cart. Shoppers who don’t buy can get a follow-up with their report and an offer.
Which platforms does FASE Shop work with?
FASE Shop works with Shopify, WooCommerce and any website where you can add one line of code. In your physical store, it runs on the FASE Scanner. The FASE team helps you set it up.
Do I need to install an app?
Shoppers don’t download anything: the skin check opens in their phone’s browser. For your store, the FASE team sets it up with you: one line of code on most websites, or a short setup in your Shopify theme.
What is the skin scan? Is it medical?
Online, it is a selfie skin check: a cosmetic AI check of what a photo shows in normal light, such as dryness, uneven tone or visible pores. It is not a medical diagnosis and does not replace advice from a doctor. In your store, the FASE Scanner looks closer, with 5 light modes.
Where do the product picks come from?
From your own catalogue. FASE matches each shopper’s skin concerns to the products you sell, so it never recommends something you don’t sell.
What happens when a shopper doesn’t buy?
If the shopper agreed to hear from you, they get a follow-up with their skin report, their product picks and an offer you choose, such as a discount or a free sample, or no offer at all. They can opt out at any time.
How much does FASE Shop cost?
There is no public price. FASE Shop is by application: we look at your store, your catalogue and how you sell, then come back with a plan and a price for your store.
Who owns the shopper data?
Your store does. Shoppers agree before the scan, and their results go into your store’s customer records in FASE. Follow-ups only go to shoppers who agreed to hear from you, and FASE does not use your shoppers to promote other stores.
How long does it take to get started?
Apply, and we reply by email after looking at your store. FASE Shop is in early access, so the start date depends on your platform and on whether you want the FASE Scanner, the online popup or both. We agree the timeline with you as part of your plan.
Can I use it in my store and online?
Yes. Use the FASE Scanner on your shop floor, the popup on your website, or both. Both run on the same FASE skin scan.
